VHC Ranked Number 2 in the Washington, DC Region

Arlington VA: July 29, 2021— Virginia Hospital Center (“VHC”), a community-based hospital providing medical services to the Washington, DC metropolitan area for 75 years, was ranked No. 2 in the Washington, DC metropolitan area and earned recognition for its performance in several specialties in U.S. News & World Report’s 2021-2022 Best Hospitals rankings.

“VHC is committed to growth, consistently recruiting and retaining top doctors, nurses, and staff and investing in innovation and technology,” said James B. Cole, President & CEO of Virginia Hospital Center. “It is an honor to have our performance acknowledged in this report and to be ranked alongside the region’s top hospitals. We could not have achieved this without the hard work of our dedicated staff, who devote their time and effort every day to providing our community with quality healthcare.”

U.S. News & World Report named Mayo Clinic the top ranked hospital in the country. As a member of the Mayo Clinic Care Network, VHC has special access to the Mayo Clinic’s resources, knowledge, and expertise and work directly with Mayo Clinic specialists.
