Fill Your Plate: Senior Nutrition & Cooking

Join us to hear from two dieticians about eating well as we age with proper nutrition, balanced caloric intake and considerations for chronic health conditions.  In addition, the talk will cover small meal planning. From pasta and beans to veggies and grains there is no easier way to “cook once and eat all week” than planning balanced meals that can fill your fridge (or freezer) once. These tasty dishes are high in fiber and protein and are great alone or as an easy side dish. Best of all, they are super affordable and perfect year round.  Proper food storage will also be covered.
