Life can get busy, and it’s not always easy to go to the doctor. With virtual visits, you can see a healthcare provider in Arlington or the DC metro without leaving your home. These visits are also called telehealth or video visits. They happen through a safe video connection using your phone, tablet, or computer. You can use video visits whether you’re a new patient or already a VHC Health patient.
Video visits make it easier to fit health care into your day. You don’t have to drive, find parking, or sit in a waiting room. Instead, you can talk face to face with a provider from a place where you feel comfortable. You can be at home, at work, or anywhere you have a good internet connection. Whether you need primary care or specialty care, VHC Health makes it simple to get the care you need—right where you are.
What is a Video Visit?
A video visit is a lot like a regular doctor appointment, just online. During your visit, you will talk with your provider in real time. You can share how you are feeling, describe your symptoms, ask questions, and talk about what to do next. Your provider can also review your health history and help you make a care plan.
Conditions We Treat
Video visits work well for managing ongoing health problems, such as:
You can also use a video visit for many new or short-term health issues. These may include rashes, pink eye, sore throats, lumps, or other minor concerns. If you have back pain or muscle spasms, your provider may ask you to show where it hurts and how well you can move.
Many specialists also offer video visits, even for first-time appointments. This means you can talk about a new diagnosis, go over test results, and plan your care without coming into the office right away.
Invite a Loved One
If you want, a family member or caregiver can join your visit. This can help you feel supported and make it easier to remember what the provider says. Our scheduling team helps you with every step, from setting up your visit to making sure everything goes smoothly.
