What’s a Geriatric Doctor?

A geriatric medicine specialist, sometimes known as a geriatrician, is a primary care provider with advanced training in the health issues of older adults and the aging process. When you or a loved one partners with a dedicated geriatric doctor, you can expect personalized care to help prevent, diagnose and treat health problems.

Senior Care Services

Build a long-term relationship with a medical expert who gets to know you and your goals. Your doctor can:

• Diagnose and treat acute (short-term) and chronic (long-term) health conditions that are often associated with older age, such as dementia, osteoporosis, mobility, and incontinence.
• Help you navigate the healthcare system and coordinate care across providers
• Prescribe and help you manage multiple medications safely
• Provide preventative care, including regular physical exams and vaccinations
