Inpatient & Outpatient Rehabilitation

Talk to your doctor about what type of therapy is best for your needs.

• Inpatient rehabilitation – You stay at our Inpatient Rehabilitation Center to receive care and intensive daily therapy; see admission and referral and admission requirements for inpatient rehabilitation
• Outpatient rehabilitation – You live at home and visit the Hospital's Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation services regularly for therapy appointments; requires a written prescription no more than 30 days old (Fax prescriptions to 703.558.5715.)

Outpatient Rehabilitation: What To Expect

Please arrive 20 to 30 minutes before your scheduled appointment. Early arrival ensures time to complete the registration process so that your appointment can begin on time.

Please bring:

• Your doctor's prescription or order (the order must be dated within the last 30 days)
• Insurance card
• Photo ID

Getting to Your Appointment

If you're receiving care at VHC Health, park in the Zone E/Purple Lot adjacent to the new, Outpatient Pavilion (1851 N. George Mason Dr.) Turn into the VHC Health campus closer to 19th St., and drive straight into the Zone E/Purple Lot. There is a $7 daily fee for parking. We are located on the Ground floor of the Outpatient Pavilion.
