Tests
- Breast and lymph node biopsies – Take small samples of tissue to check for cancer
- Image-guided biopsies – Use imaging to guide a needle to take a sample
- In-office ultrasounds – Use sound waves to look inside the breast
- Surgical biopsies – Remove a larger piece of tissue during a small surgery
Treatment Options
- Lumpectomy – Removes a tumor but keeps most of the breast
- Nipple-sparing mastectomy with nerve repair – Removes breast tissue while keeping the nipple and nipple sensation
- Sentinel node removal – Removes the first lymph nodes that cancer may reach
- Axillary dissection – Removes more lymph nodes under the arm
You get a tailored care plan and support from diagnosis through treatment.
