Adult Outpatient Behavioral Health

The Behavioral Health Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) at VHC Health is a structured, intensive group counseling experience for individuals over the age of 18 in need of mental health education, support, and monitoring. The program is facilitated by experienced, licensed professionals using evidence-based treatment methods in a compassionate, comfortable setting. • Psychotic features
• Trauma related symptoms

Services Provided

• Psychiatric evaluation and medication monitoring
• Psychoeducation regarding self-diagnosis and effective treatment and recovery planning
• DBT skill building, including mindfulness, distress tolerance, and emotion regulation
• Brief individual counseling as needed
• Assistance in developing a community-based network of support and aftercare planning
• Family engagement

Intensive Outpatient Behavioral Program Schedule

Monday, Wednesday, Friday
11:00 AM - 2:00 PM

IOP consists of three, three-hour session per week for 8 weeks or a total of 24 sessions. Each session includes education, therapeutic processing and discussion and review of learning objectives.
Participants work closely with their care team and peers to learn and practice recovery skills that will help them gain long-lasting health and independence.

Late Cancellation & No-Show

At VHC Health, we recognize the importance of our patients’ time and are committed to providing efficient and timely care. By giving us advance notice, you help us accommodate as many patients as possible and minimize disruptions to the schedule.

Outpatient Behavioral Health is now requiring advance notice for appointment changes or late cancellations. This notice helps us accommodate as many patients as possible and minimizes disruptions to our patient schedule. Failure to notify us less than 24 hours in advance of your scheduled appointment time, or failure to show for your scheduled appointment, may result in a late cancellation or no-show fee of $50.
