Maternal-fetal medicine is an obstetrics specialty. Even if your insurance covers our services, you’ll receive our charges in addition to your obstetric/maternity care. There is a facility and physician charge outlined in your bill.
Use your MyVHC patient portal account to view medical test results, check your payment balance, and contact your provider.
Directions and Parking
You’ll find our office inside the VHC Health Outpatient Pavillion on the VHC Health campus in Arlington, Virginia.
Patient parking is available in the Purple Garage, Zone E, steps away from the Outpatient Pavilion. Metered on-street parking is available on N. George Mason Drive, 16th Street, and Edison Street. Parking in our garages is free for the first 30 minutes. After 30 minutes, there’s a charge.
How to Find Us on Campus
Enter the VHC Health Outpatient Pavillion. Take the lobby elevators to the fifth floor. You’ll find our office and other women’s health specialties inside the Center for Women’s Health. This makes it convenient for you to schedule multiple appointments for the same day if needed.
Preparing for Your Appointment
Arrive 15 to 30 minutes early for your appointment.
Bring your insurance card and a photo ID to your visit
In your first trimester (up to 14 weeks), bring a water bottle and have a full bladder for your scan.
Expect to spend two or more hours at our office on your ultrasound and review day. Double the ultrasound office time if you’re having twins or multiples.
We don’t allow children under 12 years old to attend office visits.
You may bring up to two adult guests (not including yourself) to your appointments.
