Lead Physician of VHC Health Primary Care - West Alexandria, Terri Remy, MD, FACP, MSCP, earned both BS and MS degrees at the University of Maryland. She subsequently graduated from the George Washington University School of Medicine (DC) and continued her medical training at George Washington University Medical Center, completing both an Internal Medicine internship and a Primary Care/Internal Medicine Residency.

Dr. Remy is board-certified in Internal Medicine and is a Certified Menopause Practitioner as well. She has an interest in preventive care and women’s health issues. Prior to medical school, Dr. Remy worked at Georgetown University Medical Center as a nutritionist in an outpatient clinic. Dr. Remy continues to have a particular interest in nutrition and its relationship to health and disease. She has been in practice in Northern Virginia since 1992.

Dr. Remy is a Clinical Assistant Professor at Georgetown University Medical Center (DC). She is a Fellow of the American College of Physicians, a member of the North American Menopause Society, a member of the American College of Physicians, and a past President of the Arlington County Medical Society. Dr. Remy has been employed with VHC since 2012 but has been a staff member since 1992 (in private practice). She's the Vice Chief Medical Officer for the Division of Primary Care at VHC and serves on multiple committees (Informatics, Quality Council, Executive Council).
