Susana Quant, MSN, FNP-BC

Susana Quant, MSN, FNP-BC, has transitioned within VHC Health to join the Primary Care team as a dedicated Nurse Practitioner, specializing in health promotion and prevention. Committed to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care, Susana empowers individuals to take control of their health. A native of Nicaragua and fluent in Spanish, she can connect with a diverse patient population and provide culturally competent care.

Susana earned her Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from George Mason University and her Master’s degree in Nursing from Virginia Commonwealth University. During her clinical rotations, she gained valuable experience across various specialties. Before becoming a Nurse Practitioner, she worked as a registered nurse at VHC Health in acute care settings, including the Medical/Stroke unit and the Cardiac Catheterization Lab, where she cared for critically ill patients.

With a strong belief in a holistic approach to care, Susana emphasizes empathy, effective communication, and patient empowerment. She holds an advanced practice registered nurse (APRN) license and is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner through the American Nurses Credentialing Center.

Outside of her professional life, Susana enjoys spending quality time with her family, staying active through exercise, and experimenting with new recipes in the kitchen—activities that help her maintain a balanced and fulfilling lifestyle. She is excited to continue her work at VHC Health and contribute to the well-being of the community.
