Stuart E. Sheifer, MD specializes in general, preventative and nuclear cardiology. He is board certified in cardiovascular disease, nuclear cardiology and internal medicine. “As much as technology has progressed, good medical care begins with a thorough medical history and physical exam,” he said. “It is the basis of impactful care and helps me engage my patients in their care process.”

Dr. Sheifer earned his medical degree the Duke University School of Medicine and completed his residency at Johns Hopkins Hospital. He then pursued a fellowship at Georgetown University Medical Center in cardiovascular disease.

In his free time, Dr. Sheifer enjoys running, gardening and coaching youth sports.
