Sha'ni M. Brown, DNP, FNP-BC

Shani Brown, DNP, FNP-BC, is a board-certified nurse practitioner. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Virginia Commonwealth University. She went on to receive her Master of Science in Nursing from Bowie State University and her Doctor of Nursing Practice from Old Dominion University. Shani joined VHC Health Medical Group Primary Care – McLean in 2019.

Shani has clinical interests in chronic disease management, preventive health, and encouraging a healthy lifestyle, including exercise and fitness. She takes a personalized, empathetic approach to patient care and recognizes the uniqueness of each of her patients. Her patient encounters focus on whole-person health, in addition to treating the symptoms of current illnesses or conditions.

Originally from Grand Rapids, Michigan, Shani moved to the DC area in 2009. She is a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners.
