Ramineh Kangarloo, DDS, earned her doctor of dental surgery degree from the University of Maryland School of Dentistry in 2006, followed by a one-year hospital-based General Practice Residency (GPR) at Hackensack University Medical Center in Hackensack, New Jersey. During her residency, Dr. Kangarloo treated a variety of medically compromised, pregnant, and emergency patients.
In recent years, she has completed postgraduate courses in several dental specialties, including care for special needs patients, oral surgery, orthodontics, occlusion, cosmetic dentistry, oral medicine, pediatric dentistry, endodontics and periodontics. These courses have enhanced her skills and made her a highly trained and competent dental practitioner. Dr. Kangarloo recently completed a six-month postgraduate course in cosmetic dentistry at Columbia University in New York. She is currently receiving training in clinical oral medicine as it relates to systemic health.
Dr. Kangarloo is a member of the American Dental Association, Virginia Dental Association, Northern Virginia Dental Society, Academy of General Dentistry and Dawson Academy.
She supports her community through volunteer work with the MOM Project and the Northern Virginia Dental Society. Her dedication to community service, her patients and her profession gives her insight into treating patients with compassion and a gentle touch, making every visit a positive experience.
