Mridula Sood, MD

Dr. Mridula Sood is a board certified Internal Medicine physician. Dr. Sood earned her medical degree from Grant Medical College, University of Mumbai, India and completed her Internal Medicine residency from Lincoln Medical and Mental Health Center in Bronx, NY.  She has worked as a Hospitalist in Georgia and New Jersey. She has clinical teaching experience with the Florida State University College of Medicine and University of New England PA School of Medicine.

Dr. Sood worked as an Internist in Maine prior to moving to Virginia. She believes primary care provides invaluable insight into a person’s overall health, allowing for comprehensive and long term care of a patient. Her interests include preventative care, women’s health and management of chronic medical problems.

She enjoys spending time with her family, nature walks, swimming and dance.
