Kevin Q. Nguyen, DO is a provider with Primary Care - Falls Church office. Dr. Nguyen was born at VHC Health and grew up in Northern Virginia. Dr. Nguyen is passionate about medicine, building meaningful relationships with his patients, and providing personalized care to individuals of all ages and genders. His areas of interest include preventive care, procedures, musculoskeletal care, lifestyle medicine, diabetes education, and pediatrics. Dr. Nguyen earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Virginia in 2015, majoring in Biology with a minor in Religious Studies. He then attended Campbell University School of Osteopathic Medicine, graduating in 2021, where he developed a strong passion for community outreach and service. He was an active member of the Student Government Association and Family Medicine Club, and also participated in medical missionary work, provided care at free clinics, and promoted health awareness at cultural festivals.
Dr. Nguyen completed his residency in Family and Community Medicine at Penn State Hershey Medical Center in 2024, where he refined his ability to connect with patients, listen to their concerns, and advocate for their health. He also engaged in community education and quality improvement projects, including colorectal cancer screening and pediatric dental health initiatives. His research experience spans musculoskeletal pain, asthma care, genetic research in osteoporosis, and clinical trials focusing on thrombosis and blood clots.
In his free time, Dr. Nguyen enjoys spending time with family and friends, caring for his plants, keeping up with recent movies and shows, playing tennis, and experimenting with new recipes in the kitchen.
