Dr. Kenneth Lahart joined VHC Health's Hospitalist team in September 2024. Originally from Houston, Texas, Dr. Lahart first came to the Washington, D.C., area to earn his Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from Georgetown University. He then returned to Texas for his medical education at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center School of Medicine, where he earned his Doctor of Medicine in 2021. Following medical school, Dr. Lahart completed his Internal Medicine residency at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston.
Dr. Lahart is committed to providing high-quality, patient-centered care in both inpatient and outpatient settings. His clinical interests include Pulmonary and Critical Care, Cardiology and Palliative Care. Known for his attention to detail and strong interpersonal skills, Dr. Lahart is adept at fostering rapport with patients, their families and interdisciplinary teams.
He also has significant experience working with various Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems at renowned institutions, including the Michael E. DeBakey VA Medical Center, Ben Taub General Hospital and Baylor St. Luke's Medical Center.
Dr. Lahart works exclusively in the Hospital environment and does not maintain office hours for scheduled appointments.
