I felt heard, respected and helped in making my own decisions in accordance with my health goals, experiences and values. I had the best gyn visit I ever had in my life, and I have been seeing a gyn since I was 12 years old, I am now 65 years old. All of my concerns and the past experiences with prescriptions I had tried were not dismissed. It was great not to be treated like a 2 year old who was not allowed to make her own decisions or say No.

I told the doctor about my previous experience with birth control while breast feeding and instead of trying to convince me otherwise, she offered me a different type of pill which I really appreciate

The care was excellent. The doctor remembered me and details about my personal life and health. She offered me guidance on finding a doctor with the specialty I needed (just like she did last year), with the offer to contact her if I had difficulty making a connection. I feel well cared for and safe being part of her practice.

Dr. Platner was wonderful. She was warm and concerned about me. She answered all my questions thoroughly since I had not been to a gynecologist for several years (mine had retired). She seemed very competent and understood everything I asked and gave me answers. I never felt rushed.
