Caroline Bertsch, MS, CGC, is a genetic counselor with the VHC Health Charlotte S. Benjamin Center for Women's Health.

Caroline graduated with a Bachelor’s degree from Vanderbilt University. She earned her Master of Science in Genetic Counseling from the University of Texas MD Anderson and UTHealth Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences. Caroline started her career as an oncology genetic counselor at Moffitt Cancer Center. Before VHC Health, she worked as a genetic counselor in oncology, connective tissue disorders, and proactive screening at Genome Medical.

Caroline joined VHC Health in 2025 and supports patients with oncology-related concerns, including those with a personal or family history of cancer or hereditary cancer syndromes.

Caroline is a proud native of Northern Virginia and is honored to serve her community at VHC Health. Outside of her professional role, she enjoys reading, running, spending time with family and friends, and discovering the vibrant restaurant scene in the DC metro area.
