Ann Marie Steele, FNP-BC, CWCN is a nurse practitioner specializing in wound care with more than 15 years of dedicated experience in both acute care and home care settings. She has worked exclusively in wound care since 2009 and is committed to providing compassionate, evidence-based care to patients with complex wound management needs.
She earned her undergraduate degree from UCLA, completed her nursing degree at the Los Angeles County/USC School of Nursing, and obtained her Family Nurse Practitioner degree from the George Washington University School of Nursing. She earned her Certified Wound Care Nurse (CWCN) credential through Emory University. Drawing upon years of specialized experience, she provides comprehensive care for patients with wounds related to arterial and venous disease, diabetes, complex surgical wounds, oncology, autoimmune conditions, pressure injuries, and other atypical wound etiologies.
Originally from California, Ann Marie now resides in Arlington, Virginia, with her husband and twin boys. Outside of work, she enjoys ballet, tennis, and spending time outdoors with her family.
