Andrew Becker, MD, is a board-certified neurologist with the VHC Health Medical Group. He currently practices at VHC Health Neurology - Shirlington. 

Dr. Becker earned his Bachelor of Science in Biology from SUNY Binghamton, where he graduated Phi Beta Kappa and received the James H. Wilmoth Award for Excellence in Biological Sciences. He attended medical school at SUNY Upstate Medical University and competed residence training in both internal medical and neurology at North Shore University Hospital. 

Prior to joining VHC Health, Dr. Becker served as an Assistant Professor of Neurology at George Washington University and continues to serve as an Adjunct Assistant Professor of Neurology and Rehabilitation Medicine. In 2024, he was recognized with the Academic Medical Enterprise GW Pillars of Excellence Award. 

Dr. Becker treats patients with a wide range of neurological conditions, with a special interest in epilepsy and individuals with intellectual disabilities. He is a member of the America Academy of Neurology, the American Medical Association, and the America Academy of Developmental Medicine and Dentistry. 

In his spare time, Dr. Becker enjoys attending local theatre with his family, playing tennis and soccer, and volunteering at the Arlington Free Clinic and Culmore Clinic.
