Allison Greenberg, MD, dipABLM, NASM-CPT, brings a wealth of experience and a commitment to whole-person health to her role at VHC Health. With a background deeply rooted in family medicine and medical education, she has a passion for delivering comprehensive care and advancing patient well-being.
Dr. Greenberg completed her Family Medicine Residency at SUNY/St Joseph’s Health Hospital in Syracuse, NY, after earning her medical degree from Ross University School of Medicine in Portsmouth, Dominica. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree with Honors Specialization in ecology and evolution from the University of Western Ontario, Canada.
Board-certified by the American Board of Family Medicine and certified in Lifestyle Medicine, Dr. Greenberg integrates her expertise regarding lifestyle medicine into her general family medicine practice through education and behavioral change. Lifestyle medicine focuses on applying evidence-based behavioral changes to 6 pillars (plant-based diet, physical activity, restorative sleep, stress management, avoidance of risky substances, and positive social connections) to prevent, treat, and manage chronic illnesses.
Dr. Greenberg’s clinical approach emphasizes preventive medicine, acute and chronic disease management, and patient education. She is recognized for her thorough evaluations, clear communication with patients, and compassionate approach to healthcare delivery.
Outside of medicine, she enjoys exploring fantasy literature, outdoor activities with her family, and experimenting with new culinary creations.
