Alireza Hazrati, MSN, FNP-BC, is a certified family nurse practitioner with VHC Health Cardiology.
Alireza brings over a decade of experience in cardiology across North Carolina and Maryland. Born and raised in Iran, Alireza initially earned a Master's in Civil Engineering from Amirkabir University of Technology. He spent the early years of his career as a civil engineer. However, after relocating to the United States, he decided to switch to the medical field. He enrolled at East Tennessee State University (ETSU), where he obtained a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and began his career as a Registered Nurse.
Alireza then pursued a Master of Science in Nursing and certification as a family nurse practitioner, specializing in treating cardiovascular conditions, including heart disease, heart failure, arrhythmias, and acute coronary syndrome. He also provides expert care for conditions that increase the risk of cardiovascular diseases, such as high cholesterol and high blood pressure. Alireza is passionate about helping his patients achieve optimal cardiovascular health.
In his leisure time, Alireza enjoys watching sports, particularly soccer and volleyball, and is an avid traveler.
