Alex M. Kandabarow, MD, is a board-certified urologist with VHC Health Urology - Kingstowne.
Dr. Kandabarow is a native of Pittsburgh, PA, who completed his urology residency at Loyola University Medical Center in Chicago, Illinois, where he received comprehensive training in the full spectrum of urologic diseases.
In 2022, Dr. Kandabarow relocated to Arlington, VA, and spent two years practicing at Potomac Urology. He has since joined VHC Health, where he provides expert urologic care to patients across Northern Virginia and the greater Washington, D.C. metropolitan area.
Dr. Kandabarow is a diplomate of the American Board of Urology and a member of the American Urological Association. He treats both male and female patients with a wide range of urologic conditions. He has a special interest in the areas of erectile dysfunction, low testosterone, Peyronie’s Disease, infertility, kidney stones, and benign prostatic hyperplasia. He has authored multiple academic publications in these areas, reflecting his commitment to advancing urologic care through both practice and research.
In 2024, Dr. Kandabarow earned national recognition as one of a select few urologists designated an iTind™ Center of Excellence.
